Create or link: how your listings become Mawa rooms
Updated 7 October 2026
Short answer
Mawa can't create listings on Airbnb or Booking.com; the platforms don't allow it. It works the other way: create the listing on the platform, then link it to a room in Mawa when you connect. New listing later? Press Connect / manage again in Channels and link it.
The room must exist in Mawa first
Add the building and its rooms in Mawa, by hand or from your Excel import, and set How is it rented? to Short term or Both. Its tenants, history and landlord stay with it; the platform calendar and reservations are added to it.
Same property on both platforms
Link the Airbnb listing and the Booking.com room type to the same Mawa room. A booking on one then closes the nights on the other.
